Embrace A Family (EAF) welcomes you and your family and hopes that you will enjoy and benefit from being involved with our organization. Our mission is to “Embrace and Empower Single Moms to Lead Loving, Healthy Families”. Core to our mission is providing a warm and empowering environment where you can continue to build your “Mom Network” and grow. We strive to provide you with relatable and applicable offerings where you feel supported in your challenges and your growth as a single mom.  We look forward to seeing you at future events.

EAF offers a variety of positive and family-oriented social events, which are wonderful opportunities for you to develop new friendships, enable you to establish a support network, learn and/or volunteer. We hope that you will benefit from these opportunities and maybe someday be able to pay it forward by helping other single moms.

We have watched moms within the organization forge important friendships and support networks that have enriched their lives and the lives of their children. We hope to provide you with role models of strong women who have survived and thrived as single moms. Our members look for ways to help, some will swap clothing with each other as their children outgrow their clothes, and others may pick up food at the local pantry.  They also swap skills, teach each other, or simply serve as sounding boards for one another. We encourage you to reach out to other EAF moms as you get to know them and welcome new members as they become part of our organization.

Occasionally, we are able to offer time- and money-saving items, and emergency or holiday support with the purpose of enriching your lives with experiences and strong support, not material distribution. We will connect you to other local agencies if you have a need that we cannot meet.  

To facilitate our record-keeping, and make you aware of any new guidelines, we are request an annual membership to remain an active member for the following year. If you are joining us mid-year, simply complete the Membership Agreement and Family Information Sheet and return it to our Membership Director. 

We are happy to have you as a member and would like to help you to take advantage of the enormous potential for moral support, friendship, empowering programs, and key networking opportunities within EAF.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY

As part of our mission, we would like to offer our moms the opportunity to empower themselves in a new way.  Empowerment is the process of becoming stronger and more confident, especially in controlling one's life and claiming one's rights.  A $500 scholarship will be awarded to a mom who has a plan and can accelerate her plan with some additional financial assistance. Please complete the following fields and submit your application.
